About Me

Hi, I’m Farida — or as you might know me, BohFitness.

And yes — I have a little partner working with me, you can see her in the photo. She is my daily accountability coach — very strict about walks!

I help adults build functional strength so they can move with confidence, stay independent, and feel capable in their everyday lives as they age.

Like many people, I wasn’t always active. I became overweight, developed poor eating habits, and slipped into a sedentary lifestyle. I know what it feels like to be uncomfortable in your own body and unsure where to begin — especially with so much conflicting advice and unrealistic expectations around fitness.

My turning point came in a simple way: cycling to work. That small change showed me the power of consistent movement and realistic habits. It wasn’t about extremes — it was about building something sustainable that fit into real life. Over time, I learned how to train safely, stay consistent, and rebuild my confidence.

Before qualifying as a personal trainer, I worked as a carer. During that time, I saw firsthand what happens when strength and mobility are lost. Everyday tasks become harder. Confidence fades. Independence slowly disappears. That experience had a lasting impact on me and shaped the way I see fitness — not just as a way to look better, but as a way to live better for longer.

My approach to training is built around real-life movement: getting up from the floor, climbing stairs, carrying shopping, and trusting your body again. I focus on helping people build strength that supports everyday life — so you can feel capable, confident, and strong for years to come.

That journey is what led me to become a personal trainer. I do this because I understand how it feels to start from scratch — and I want to help others build strength in a way that feels achievable, supportive, and sustainable.

My coaching style is friendly, supportive, and honest. I focus on strong foundations: good technique, gradual progression, and building confidence over time. No pressure, no judgement — just clear guidance and encouragement, even on the tough days.

Every bit of progress comes from your effort and consistency. I’m here to support you, guide you, and help you feel capable every step of the way.

If you want to feel stronger, move better, and invest in your long-term health, you’re in the right place.
Take the next step and get in touch — I’d love to support you.
